Online registration:  Due to lack of demand, we no longer offer online registration with payment by credit card for the KATY Epicurean.   Save $$ on card fees and send a check; or we can process your credit card for a mail-in registration.  Contact us at katy5487@gmail.com.   2024 custom tours are still available; contact us soon for details.

Is there a preferred motel near the airport if we are flying in to the tour?  Yes, we now recommend the Country Inn and Suites in downtown St. Charles.  They are located adjacent to the trail, so our ride begins and ends there.  St. Louis Lambert airport (STL) is only a short UBER ride away; while those driving to the event may park in the hotel or a public lot for the week.

We don't drink.  Can we skip the winery tours?  Yes, you may; however, at certain locations if you pass on the winery stop, you may also miss out on that day's attraction tour, as sometimes they are along the same route and we can't separate the two.

What's the weather like?  Our June tours typically experience highs in the upper 70's to mid 80's.  Since June is early summer, there can be a fair chance of some rain on at least one day, perhaps more.  The advantage of a supported tour is that you can always abandon your bike and ride in the support van if it rains too much or too long!   August-September-October tours are in the middle of the driest time of year, so the chance of rain is quite low-although not completely zero!  Temperatures in August can reach the lower 90's, although 80's are more typical.  Late September-early October dates get progressively cooler, and it's possible you may want long sleeves and a jacket on some of the cooler October mornings.

What is included in the registration fee?  Just about everything!  All your overnight lodging and transportation, three meals a day, all tour entry fees.   Your only responsibility will be for alcoholic beverages at wineries, breweries, or meals; and any souvenirs or personal items.  Tips for all staff are appreciated when our service has been outstanding, but are not mandatory.
